A conceptual Creative / CD, I’ve created campaigns and award-winning work across a variety of media for major brands including: Guinness, The Economist, Pepsi, Walkers, Sainsbury's, Sky Mobile, FedEx, Land Rover and The BBC.
I spent 12 great years at the UK’s most awarded agency, AMVBBDO London, where I was appointed to the board in 2014. I worked for 2 years at Engine London before freelancing at Mother London, VCCP and The BBC.
My work has been awarded at Cannes, D&AD, New York Festivals, Campaign Big, Creative Circle, BTAA and Kinsale and in 2022 I had the honour of judging at D&AD.
As a lover of advertising craft, a career highlight was winning first prize at legendary art director, Alexandra Taylor's Art Direction Masterclass.
But for me real success comes when my Walkers billboards are mobbed by thousands of Leicester football fans, when millions are inspired to collaborate on Blackberry’s Calendar of Tales or when our World Cup poster for The Sun becomes a topic of discussion on the BBC Breakfast News sofa. That's when advertising stops being an unwelcome intrusion and becomes an entertaining part of the conversation.
My personal side project “Woodism”, an art collaboration with my autistic son, won two D&AD pencils, was featured on the BBC news and has been accessioned into the permanent collection of the V&A Museum.
I’m always on the lookout for proactive creative opportunities, whether it’s convincing clients to make something they had no idea they wanted, or cultivating side gigs out of the things I’m passionate about. When I find an opportunity, I’m known for having a never-give-up attitude until it’s brought to life.
With a degree in law and arts, my background has helped me to present confidently to clients, to think strategically and communicate clearly with creative teams and other departments.
Finally, I strongly believe that I am lucky to work in our creative industry and aim to help contribute to a working environment that is an inclusive and enjoyable place to be.
